Detail

1,045 films, 7,018 sourced facts, 43 conversion houses, spanning 1939 to 2026. Every film carries its provenance — shot in stereo or converted, by which house — alongside which formats it exists in and where it can still be watched. It publishes no quality score of its own; it publishes what the sources say and who said it.

The short version

The question 3D enthusiasts actually argue about is whether a film was shot in stereo or converted afterwards, and until now the best public answer lived on a single page with no per-film URLs. 3DIQ gives each of 1,045 films its own record: provenance, which conversion house, which formats it exists in, and whether you can still watch it in 3D at all.

It publishes no score. Provenance and observable character are sourced and cited, critics are quoted and attributed, and where sources disagree the page says so rather than picking a winner — a disputed flag being more useful than a confident guess.

It is also the first site in the register built with its own quality gates: canonicals, unique titles, no-JavaScript rendering and sitemap coverage are checked at build and fail the build when wrong. Every one held on launch day.
